The competition is governed by a set of rules designed to ensure fairness, consistency, and high artistic standards. All aspects of the competition are structured to support an objective, professional evaluation process, and equal opportunity for all candidates. We advise that you read this section carefully.

How the jury works

How the Jury Works

Jury members must hear every contestant in a round to be eligible to vote. Voting is anonymous but signed and verified by an independent moderator. Results are published in aggregated form only

No individual votes are disclosed.

All jury decisions are made through a combination of:

Consultative voting (ballots)
Jury discussions

The jury aims to reach consensus in all decisions.

Voting in Each Round

Round 1

Each juror may vote for up to 12 candidates.

A participant needs more than 50% of votes to advance, subject to jury agreement. If needed, voting and discussion are repeated until consensus is reached.

Round 2

Each juror may vote for up to 6 candidates.

A participant needs more than 50% of votes to advance, subject to jury agreement. If needed, voting and discussion are repeated until consensus is reached.

Round 3

Each juror may vote for up to 3 candidates to advance for the final round.

Remaining participants are ranked by majority vote. If needed, voting and discussion are repeated until consensus is reached.

Final Round & Prizes

Following the Final Round, the jury determines the ranking of the finalists and the allocation of prizes through voting and discussion.

If consensus cannot be reached, balloting continues until a final ranking is determined.

In the event of a tie, the jury first votes on whether the prize should be shared. If no majority decision is reached, the Jury President casts the deciding vote.

If the overall artistic level is deemed insufficient, the jury may decide not to award one or more prizes. Such a decision requires unanimous agreement.

Announcements

After Rounds 1 and 2, the names of advancing contestants are announced in performance order only.

After Round 3, the finalists are announced in performance order only.

Final rankings and prize winners are announced following the Final Round and Prize Ceremony.

No individual scores, rankings, ballots, or vote counts are disclosed at any stage of the competition.

Final Decision

All jury decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
